Wolf Tales

Amaroc, Mohican and new wolf pup Wayha will come to you to present a multi-faceted 'hands-on' program on the life of a wolf.

Rob and his wolves, Amaroc, Mohican and Wayha, are available to present an eductional program about wolves to your organization. We visit camps, schools, retirement centers, festivals and other events.

Topics will include the hunting and social behaviors of wolves, the benefits of protecting wild wolves in natural ecosystems, conservation efforts, dispelling myths and misconceptions, and more! The wolves are gentle and will allow participants to pet them.

What people say about Wolf Tales

"Wolf Tales has added an 'up close and personal' dimension to our natural science program at camp. Talking about human impact on ecosystems in the abstract is all well and good - getting to know Rob's wolves bring caring and stewardship of God's creation to life for our campers."

C. Russell Davis, Director/Manager
Asbury Hills Camp and Retreat Center, SC

"... an excellent educational experience. Students get an up close look at animal they have never seen ... truly a unique experience."

Brian Bryson, NC Wildlife Teacher
Smoky Mountain High School, NC

"Rob Gudger is very concerned in helping people understand about the environment and the many issues that surround it. I look forward to working with Rob again in the future."

Marianne Vines, Owner

"... one of the most requested programs I have. Everyone loves the wolves, from the smallest child to their grandparents!"

Diana Reid, Guest Activity Director
Cataloochee Ranch, NC

"The children enjoy not only the wolves, bu the gentle and respectful way in which Mr. Gudger approaches all of nature. We look forward to his visits."

Bonnie Chandler, Academic Affairs Committee
Summit Charter School, NC

"My favorite learning experience on the 8th grade trip was Wolf Tales' Rob Gudger with his wolves. He is a great speaker! He told us good facts about the eating habits, breeding, lifestyle and conduct of wolves. I learned that wolves are generally not very aggressive, and the public's view of them is largely stereotypical. It was neat to see a wolf up close. I was surprised that their fur is very, very soft."

Student
Episcopal High School of Jacksonville, FL

"A highlight of our Nature Retreats is a visit by Rob with his wolves. The retreatants are delighted with the program and we look forward to a regular meeting with Wolf Tales."
